Our Leader
Born September 5, 1968 in the city of Miami Florida, to the parents of Grace and the Late Isaac Miller Jr. I am the third sibling of four sisters. I obtained my early education attending the local schools in St. Lucie County, graduating from Fort Pierce Westwood High School in the year of 1986. On August 9, 1991 I married the love of my life, Mr. Gunnie Williams Jr., and to our union was born one daughter whom we love dearly.
After graduating from high school, I continued to pursue my education attending Nova Southeastern University. I graduated in the year of 1993, with a Bachelor of Science in Education and later in the year of 2004, I obtained a Master’s of Science Degree in Administrative Management. I am currently certified with the District Board of Trustees of Indian River State College to teach Adult and Student Education. During my educational journey I have had the opportunity to teach countless students, mentor, intern, and team lead many new teachers working inside and outside of the classroom.

Desiring to reach 30 years of service in the St. Lucie County School District, my goal was cut short of two years. I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, in the year of December 2014. Not knowing the journey or the challenges ahead that I had to face, I knew it was time to retire and fight to beat this horrible illness. With sixteen rounds of Chemotherapy and 36 rounds of radiation I survived!! I now share my story of Strength and motivation to help others obtain knowledge that I gained while going through the journey of Breast Cancer. ”I am a Breast Cancer Survivor.”
